Types of the corrugated pipe:

The Corrugated Pipe mainly includes Corrugated Metal Pipe, bellows expansion joints, corrugated heat exchange tubes, diaphragm bellows and metal hoses. Metal bellows is mainly used to compensate for the thermal deformation, shock absorption and absorption line deformation of pipelines. It is widely used in petrochemical, instrumentation, aerospace, chemical, electric power, cement, metallurgy and other industries. Other materials such as plastic bellows have an irreplaceable role in the fields of medium transportation, power threading, machine tools, and home appliances.

The bellows can be divided into metal bellows and non-metal bellows according to the constituent materials; according to the structure, it can be divided into single layer and multiple layers. Single layer bellows are used more. Multi-layer bellows have high strength, good durability and low stress, which are used in important measurements. The material of the bellows is generally bronze, brass, stainless steel, Monel and Inconel.

Service life:

The mode of component damage or failure is different depending on the working state. The instrument elastic sensitive component works in the elastic range, basically in a static working state, and has a long service life, generally reaching tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of times. The bellows components used in the project sometimes work in the elastoplastic range or the alternating stress state, and the life span is only a hundred times. The component must be given a permissible working life when it is cycled, specifying the number of cycles, time and frequency.

The rated life of the elastic component is the expected service life determined during the design of the component. It is required that the component does not allow fatigue, damage or failure during this period.
