Full Length Corrugations & Lapped Joints for More Effective Stiffness & Ring Compression. The Liner Plate provides optimum shaft stability and protection when constructing new utility tunnels, relining structures under highways and railroads and lining vertical shafts.
Tunnel liners are one of the most versatile segmental corrugated steel panel systems on the market today. Designed for laying soft ground tunnels and re-lining existing pipes under roads and railroads, their application extends to caissons, vertical shafts, mine entrances, etc. They are installed immediately after the tunnel boring machine is in operation. They are designed to resist earth pressure and groundwater head and to provide a framework for the end use of the tunnel.
They are quick and easy to install and cause minimal disturbance to road users and the surrounding environment as they do not require complex tunnel lining equipment. A variety of material options and coatings are available to optimize service life requirements.
